U.S. Health Professionals Recruited by British Columbia
Some Canadians are bragging in the comments to my videos about American doctors and nurses supposedly fleeing north.
But let’s look at the actual numbers.
British Columbia recruited more than 500 U.S.-trained health professionals—including 109 doctors and 315 nurses.
And where did they go?
B.C.’s public health-care system.
Not Canada’s private sector.
And about one in five Canadian workers already works in the public sector.
Canadians Moving to the United States
Now compare that with what I’m doing.
