With French government spending at roughly 58–59% of GDP, some French entrepreneurs and business owners are exploring opportunities in the U.S. The E-2 and L-1 visas are two options.
Why French Entrepreneurs Are Looking at the U.S.
The French government is now spending roughly 58–59% of GDP—among the highest levels in the developed world.
For some French entrepreneurs and business owners, this is one of several factors prompting them to explore opportunities in the United States.
My goal is to help them do it—while supporting U.S. job creation and economic growth in the process.
The E-2 Visa
One option is the E-2 visa.
It allows you to live and work in the United States by investing in and actively directing a U.S. business—whether a startup, franchise, or acquisition.
The L-1 Visa
Or, if you already operate an established company abroad in a managerial, executive, or specialized role, the L-1 visa may allow you to expand into the U.S. through a new office or intra-company transfer—under certain conditions.
